Dermatology includes, but is not limited to, the study, investigation, and diagnosis of normal and abnormal skin conditions, illnesses, cancers, cosmetic and ageing conditions of the skin, fat, hair, nails, and oral and genital membranes, as well as the management of these through various investigations and therapies, including, but not limited to, dermatohistopathology, topical and systemic medications, dermatologic surgery, dermatologic cosmetic surgery, immunotherapy, phototherapy, laser therapy, and radiotherapy. The largest and most noticeable organ of the body is the skin. It displays the body's health and serves as a defence against harm and infection. Unfortunately, almost everyone develops a skin condition at some point in their lives, including infants, kids, teens, adults, and the elderly. A skin issue is the reason for one in six (15%) of all GP visits.
